From The Reno Gazette Journal:

Staff report 12:20 a.m. PDT April 24, 2014

Steve and Elaine Woods, the owners of A Beloved Friends, spent several months preparing to become accredited by examining its processes and procedures to ensure it would meet the association's standards. The crematory was reviewed and inspected.

According to the company, the association is the only organization that has published recommended procedures for the pet cremation process. These involve factors like records, cremation types, facility standards and staff education.

A Beloved Friends was evaluated against 240 standards and best practices in pet cremation care.
